Política de Cookies

Fecha de vigencia: 22 de septiembre de 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Faith Tech LLC (“Faith Tech,” “VIVA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use the ¡VIVA! La Santa Biblia website, mobile applications, and related digital services that link to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).

This policy should be read together with the VIVA Privacy Policy. Because the exact technologies used can change as the Services evolve, the production website and app maintain an accurate, current technology inventory and consent configuration.

Este texto en inglés es la versión vigente. Una versión en español está en preparación.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. VIVA may also use technologies that perform similar functions, including local storage, software development kits (SDKs), pixels, tags, web beacons, device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, session identifiers, and other storage or access technologies.

On the mobile app, many functions that websites perform with cookies are performed through SDKs, app storage, device identifiers, and operating-system permissions. In this policy, references to “cookies” include these similar technologies where the context permits.

2. Why VIVA Uses These Technologies

VIVA may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Services, remember preferences, understand usage, improve performance, personalize experiences, measure campaigns, prevent fraud, and—where permitted and enabled—support advertising or partner attribution.

3. Categories of Cookies and Similar Technologies

CategoryPurposeTypical ExamplesConsent Approach
Strictly NecessaryOperate core features, authenticate users, maintain sessions, process payments, remember privacy choices, prevent abuse, and secure the Services.Login/session identifiers, security tokens, load balancing, consent records, checkout/session cookies.Generally enabled because the Service cannot function properly without them; where law provides an exemption, separate consent is not requested.
Functional / PreferenceRemember choices and provide enhanced functionality.Language, audio preferences, accessibility settings, remembered app state, regional settings.Used according to applicable law and your settings; may require consent in some jurisdictions.
Analytics / PerformanceMeasure traffic, feature use, crashes, performance, and engagement so we can improve VIVA.Page and screen views, session analytics, crash diagnostics, feature interaction events.Where required, used only after consent. You can change choices through Cookie Settings or device controls.
Advertising / TargetingMeasure marketing, attribute campaigns, limit repetition, and, if enabled, personalize advertising.Campaign attribution, ad pixels, advertising identifiers, audience measurement.Used only where permitted and subject to applicable notice, consent, opt-out, and platform requirements.
Fraud / SecurityDetect suspicious activity, protect accounts and transactions, and prevent misuse.Fraud-risk signals, device/session security identifiers, rate-limit and bot-detection technologies.Often treated as necessary for security, subject to applicable law.

4. First-Party and Third-Party Technologies

First-party technologies are set or controlled by VIVA. Third-party technologies are provided by companies that help us deliver functions such as payments, analytics, cloud hosting, authentication, communications, AI, media delivery, customer support, campaign measurement, or app distribution.

Third parties may process information under their own privacy notices. VIVA should not list a third-party provider in the public version of this policy unless that provider is actually used in production and the listed purpose is accurate.

5. Website Cookie Consent and Cookie Settings

Where applicable law requires consent, VIVA will not place or activate non-essential cookies until you make a valid choice. The website should provide a Cookie Settings control that allows you to accept or reject categories of non-essential technologies and to change your choices later.

Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent access to core VIVA functionality, although some preferences, personalization, analytics, or marketing features may be limited. Your consent choices may need to be renewed if our use of cookies materially changes, if the consent record expires, or if required by law.

VIVA does not currently use a separate consent-management pop-up. You can accept, reject, and change your cookie choices at any time through your browser controls and your iOS or Android device settings, as described in Section 10 below.

6. Mobile App Tracking and Device Controls

The VIVA mobile app may use SDKs, app storage, device identifiers, push-notification tokens, crash-reporting tools, and similar technologies. Some app permissions and tracking choices are controlled through your iOS or Android device settings rather than a browser cookie panel.

Where an operating system requires permission for tracking or access to certain device features, VIVA will request permission through the operating system before using the relevant capability. You can later change many permissions through your device settings.

7. Analytics

If enabled, analytics technologies help us understand how users interact with VIVA—for example, which screens or features are used, whether the app crashes, how long sessions last, and whether a campaign led to a visit or subscription. Analytics data may be aggregated or associated with a device, browser, session, or account depending on the implementation.

Where required, optional analytics will be disabled until consent is obtained.

8. Advertising, Affiliate, and Campaign Attribution

VIVA may use campaign or affiliate attribution technologies to determine whether a visit or subscription resulted from a pastor, church, celebrity, media campaign, partner, coupon, referral link, or other marketing source. These technologies may store a referral code, campaign identifier, device or browser identifier, or similar information.

If VIVA uses information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or activities legally treated as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, VIVA will provide the notices and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

9. Global Privacy Control and Similar Preference Signals

Where required by applicable law, VIVA will recognize qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity for the browser or device sending the signal. The effect of a signal depends on the jurisdiction and on whether VIVA engages in a covered activity.

A privacy preference signal may not disable cookies that are necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, or remember the privacy choice itself.

10. How to Control Cookies and Similar Technologies

Depending on your device and location, you may be able to control technologies in several ways:

  • use VIVA’s Cookie Settings tool to accept, reject, or change optional cookie categories;
  • adjust browser controls to block, delete, or limit cookies and site storage;
  • adjust iOS or Android privacy, tracking, advertising, microphone, notification, and app-permission settings;
  • use a qualifying browser privacy preference signal where supported; and
  • use any applicable privacy-rights request process described in the VIVA Privacy Policy.

Blocking all browser storage may cause sign-in, preference, checkout, audio, or other features to work incorrectly.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not a single universally applied standard for that signal, VIVA may not respond to legacy Do Not Track signals. Where legally required, we do respond to qualifying opt-out preference signals as described above.

12. Cookie and Technology Inventory

VIVA maintains a current inventory of the cookies, pixels, SDKs, local-storage keys, analytics tools, attribution tools, and advertising identifiers actually used across the production website and mobile app. For each technology, that inventory records whether it applies to the web or the app, its category, its purpose, the data or identifier involved, and its duration. VIVA does not list guessed or unused vendors.

13. Retention

Cookie and identifier retention periods vary by purpose. Session technologies may expire when you close the browser or app, while preference, analytics, security, or attribution technologies may remain for a defined period unless deleted or reset earlier. VIVA’s technology inventory states the applicable duration for each technology.

14. International Users

Cookie and similar-technology rules vary by country and region. VIVA may present different consent choices or default settings depending on location. Where consent is required before using non-essential technologies, those technologies should remain inactive until consent is obtained. Where opt-out rights apply, VIVA will provide the applicable mechanism.

15. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, vendors, law, or the Services. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date. If a change materially alters a consent choice, we may request a new choice where required.
